Neil Patrick Harris spent Sunday night live-tweeting the Tony Awards. During his tweet storm, the actor and Tony Award winner took issue with "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" creator and star Rachel Bloom, who was hosting the show from backstage.

"Who is the woman in the top hat backstage @TheTonyAwards? Gideon remarked that she says 'like' and 'oh my god' a lot. I'm confused, NPH wrote. (Gideon is his son.)

That woman, of course, was Bloom, who, apparently knows NPH in real life and didn't hesitate to clap back at the actor in a tweet.

"I'm a big fan of yours. We've met numerous times and my husband, Dan Gregor, wrote for 'How I Met Your Mother' for 5 years. Notably, he wrote the episode where your character finally meets his father," she responded to NPH on Twitter.

The actor didn't delete his tweet, however, and actually responded back to Bloom the best he could.

"Indeed! Well said. Thanks for the reminder. How was backstage?
