Our gay little hearts are about to explode!

Jessica Lange may not be in the next season of "American Horror Story," but the actress is teaming up with creator Ryan Murphy for another FX anthology series called "Feud," Variety reports.

The upcoming eight-episode series will also star Susan Sarandon and the first season will be about the backstage battle between legendary divas Joan Crawford and Bette Davis. Variety notes Sarandon will play Davis and Lange Crawford. Each season of "Feud" will center around a different battle.

Also starring in the first edition of the series is Stanley Tucci, Alfred Molina, Judy Davis and Dominic Burgess. Murphy will write and direct a number of the episodes and Brad Pitt will be an executive producer along with Murphy, Sarandon, Lange and Dede Gardner.

"Feud" comes off the massive success Murphy had for FX with anthology shows "American Crime Story" and "AHS."

"Ryan revolutionized the modern anthology with the 'American Horror Story' and 'American Crime Story' franchises, and he's come up with another gem in 'Feud,'" Fox Television Group Chairmen and CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman told Variety. "With Jessica and Susan headlining, it's already sure to be as flawlessly acted, wildly entertaining and fiercely provocative. It's a fantastic project which only Ryan Murphy could deliver."

"Feud" is slated to start production this fall and will air in 2017.
