Matt Bomer Turns Heads on Malibu Beach While Filming New Movie

Matt Bomer was spotted filming his new film "Outcome" on a beach in Malibu and social media was quick to take notice of the out actor.

The ripped 46-year-old star wore yellow shorts and revealed a lower back tattoo in paparazzi pics that have turned up on Twitter.

"Outcome" stars Keanu Reeves as a famous Hollywood star with a checkered past. Now sober, he must deal with being blackmailed for a questionable video from his past. Jonah Hill is directing, as well as co-starring as Reeves' crisis lawyer. Bomer is featured in the cast that includes Cameron Diaz, Matt Bomer, Susan Lucci, David Spade, Laverne Cox and Kaia Gerber. Hill also co-wrote the script with Ezra Woods.

Bomer's pics came out not long before the announcement in Variety that "Fellow Travelers," the acclaimed Showtime series about American gay life from the McCarthy era to the advent of AIDS, is being submitted for 23 possible Emmy nominations, including Bomer for Best Actor in the lead actor (limited) category. It would mark his second Emmy nomination after being cited for playing Felix Turner in the 2014 television movie "The Normal Heart." He could also be nominated as a producer for the series if it gets picked in the highly competitive limited series category.

Jonathan Bailey, his co-star in the series, is being pushed as Supporting Actor. Bailey praised Bomer in Variety, calling him "the flag in the sand of 'Fellow Travelers.' He made it the most exciting and enjoyable. It's a happy friendship and working relationship, and I look forward to doing something with him again."
