Two stars of the "Drag Race" franchise – Morphine Love, of "RuPaul's Drag Race," Season 16, and Kaos, of "Canada's Drag Race" Season 3 – were among six people hurt in a July 21 crash in California, Entertainment Weekly reports. A seventh, unidentified person died in the accident, which reports say began with one vehicle crashing but then left to a pile-up.

The magazine reported that it had "confirmed that the Miami-based drag entertainer – who placed fifth on the most recent season of the MTV reality competition series – was involved in a deadly car crash on the 10 freeway in L.A.'s Jefferson Park area."

A post at Morphine's Instagram Story relayed that the drag star had been riding in an Uber at the time of the crash, and said that she "suffered multiple injuries but is grateful to be alive."

"Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers," the Instagram Stories post went on to say. "Some space and time is appreciated as she focuses on healing."

The Miami Herald reported that the two entertainers were sharing the same Uber when the crash took place.

Kaos, too, took to Instagram Stories to inform fans that she was "ok" and "on bed rest" following the accident.

"I will be making a post explaining what happened this weekend once I am in the right headspace and also can explain it all and the accident," Kaos added in the July 22 post. "For now resting and sorry won't be posting any dragcon stuff right now either that will come later prob next week!"

Fellow "Drag Race" veterans took to to social media to post their own comments and updates, EW noted.

"Surgeries went well and now To a speedy recovery," Geneva Karr, another contestant on "DragRace" Season 16, posted in her Instagram Stories, EW relayed, before adding: "love you hermana."

"Send my sister some good energy💜" posted another Season 16 star, Xunami Muse, to X.

Xunami went on to add: "it's been the scariest two days ever but so happy her and everyone else that was in the car are doing fine💜🙏🏾".

"Both Morphine and Kaos were in the area to attend RuPaul's DragCon LA, an annual convention where drag entertainers from around the world congregate for a two-day meet-up," EW detailed.

Uber responded to the tragedy, releasing a statement in which the company said, "Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by this gut-wrenching crash. We are working to get in touch with the driver and riders to check on their well-being."
